<p>Le collège fut créé en octobre 2006 par les professionnels de la
médecine d'urgence et a intégré la fédération des spécialités

<p>Les organisations constitutives du CFMU restent les effecteurs dans leurs
domaines de compétence respectifs, mais s’accordent pour confier au
Conseil National Professionnel de Médecine d’Urgence les missions

<p><strong>Référentiels de certification périodiques des médecins urgentistes</strong></p>
</p>L’obligation de certification périodique est effective depuis le 1er janvier 2023 et concerne tous les médecins et professionnels
de santé à ordre. Le cycle de la certification périodique est défini sur une période de 6 ans pour les médecins diplômés après le
1er janvier 2023 ; pour les professionnels déjà diplômés à cette même date, la première période est de 9 ans. Les actions pour
