<p>Die klassische Institution einer <a href="https://bucheld.de/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Buchveröffentlichung ist der Verlag</a>. Mit dem sogenannten Self-Publishing steht Ihnen aber ein weiterer Weg offen, den Sie beschreiten können, um Ihr Werk auf den Markt zu bringen.</p>
<p>Wir zeigen Ihnen den <strong>Ablauf einer Buchveröffentlichung und auch die Kosten</strong>, die Ihnen dafür entstehen.</p>
<h2><span id="Die_Vorbereitung">Die Vorbereitung</span></h2>
<p>Schauen Sie sich im Vorfeld nach geeigneten Verlagen bzw. Plattformen für den Selbstverlag um und besorgen Sie sich vor dem Versenden Ihres Manuskripts an verschiedene Verlage die wichtigsten Informationen zu diesen. Dazu zählen:</p>
<ul>
<li>Verlagsform</li>
<li>Ausrichtung bei den Veröffentlichungen</li>
<li>Vorgaben für das Einreichen von Material</li>
<li>Höhe der Kosten & Gebühren (falls gefordert)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Praxistipp:</strong> Achten Sie vor allem auf die <a href="https://was-kostet.net/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kosten</a>, denn bei manchen <strong>Verlagen zahlen Sie für eine Buchveröffentlichung bis zu 3.000 Euro</strong> (wohlgemerkt für ein Buch mit lediglich 150 Seiten). Deutlich günstiger sind hier <strong>Self Publishing Verlage, bei denen Sie lediglich mit Kosten im niedrigen dreistelligen Bereich rechnen müssen</strong>. Jeweils nicht mit diesen Kosten enthalten ist der Preis für ein Lektorat und/oder Korrektorat.</p>
<h2><span id="Buch_fertig_schreiben">Buch fertig schreiben</span></h2>
<p>Haben Sie das Buch fertiggestellt, sollten Sie das Manuskript auf jeden Fall nochmals auf grobe Rechtschreibfehler oder unsaubere Formulierungen kontrollieren. Auch die korrekte Interpunktion sollte vorhanden sein. Im Idealfall geben Sie eine Kopie des Manuskripts einer Freundin oder einem Bekannten zum Probelesen – inklusive der Bitte, Fehler zu markieren. Auch der eine oder andere Testleser wird Ihnen wertvolle Hinweise geben können, wo Sie Ihr Werk noch besser, spannender oder logischer gestalten könnten.</p>
<h2><span id="Veroeffentlichungsweg_waehlen">Veröffentlichungsweg wählen</span></h2>
<p>Prinzipiell können Sie zwischen einem <strong>herkömmlichen Buchverlag und einem Self-Publisher-Verlag</strong> wählen. Beide Formen haben ihre Vor- und Nachteile, die es gegeneinander abzuwägen gilt.
