<p>In March 2025, two projects co-funded by the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership participated in <a href="https://maritime-forum.ec.europa.eu/events/blueinvest-day-2025-2025-03-05_en" target="_blank">BlueInvest Day</a>, a flagship event organised by the European Commission during the <a href="https://maritime-forum.ec.europa.eu/theme/governance/european-ocean-days_en" target="_blank">European Ocean Days</a> to showcase champions of innovation, investment, and sustainability in the blue economy, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators. </p><p>Natalia Mæhle, coordinator of the <a href="https://bluepartnership.eu/projects/balancing-economic-environmental-and-social-sustainability-european-aquaculture-industry" target="_blank">AQUABALANCE project</a>, balancing economic, environmental, and social sustainability in the European aquaculture industry, and Ruth Higgins from <a href="https://bluepartnership.eu/projects/digital-twin-ocean-arctic-fisheries" target="_blank">ARCFISH</a>, the Digital Twin of the Ocean for Arctic Fisheries, joined the event in Brussels to explore commercialisation pathways, networking opportunities, and innovation in the blue economy.
