<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Violence de masse et Résistance (MV&R)</strong> est une publication scientifique en ligne spécialisée dans l’étude des massacres, des génocides, et des résistances locales qu’ils génèrent.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>MV&R</strong> couvre les XXème et XXIème siècles. Son but est de fournir une information fiable sur des événements qui sont parfois difficiles à documenter et qui demeurent profondément enracinés dans les mémoires individuelles et collectives. Constituant pour cette raison des événements presque sans fin, ces faits continuent de jouer un rôle sur les scènes nationales et internationales.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>MV&R</strong> poursuit l’entreprise inaugurée en 2008 par l’Encyclopédie en ligne des violences de masse. Mais MV&R élargit le champ de l’étude en incluant les diverses formes de résistance pour donner une vision plus globale de la violence de masse et pour analyser la façon dont l’oppression et la résistance se répondent.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>MV&R</strong> repose sur le réseau de recherche Violence de masse et Résistance, un réseau académique interdisciplinaire basé au Centre de Recherches Internationales (CERI) et au Centre d’histoire de Sciences Po, Paris.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>MV&R</strong> a été depuis le début un centre de ressources en accès libre. Son lectorat est mondial et couvre tous les continents. Les lecteurs sont des chercheurs, des étudiants ainsi que des citoyens cherchant à s’informer. Les articles sont écrits par les meilleurs spécialistes, et, comme dans toutes les publications scientifiques, chaque contribution a subi une double relecture en double aveugle avant la publication.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>MV&R</strong> accueille avec un intérêt particulier les contributions qui combinent la recherche empirique et la réflexion conceptuelle sur les événements eux-mêmes et sur leur mémoire.</p>
