<p class="about-text">岳麓区积向港运动健康股份有限公司省（部）、市、攀钢等各级科技进步奖800余项,成果转化率75%以上；每年在国内外学术刊物上发表学术论文100余篇。 钢铁研究院具有较强的技术力量,职工总数600余人,其中科技（包括管理）人员约占70%。享受政府津贴的有突出贡献的中青年专家21人。外聘工程院院士、知名教授等专家10余人作为院客座研究员。经国家人事部1999年批准的攀钢博士后科研工作站设在院内,并有与高校联合培养硕士研究生权。 作为教师进修和学生学习基地,设有与大学共建的物理检测、化学检测、仪表检测等联合实验室,是学生实习及培养科研能力的重要基地。 多年来,钢铁研究院致力于攀钢的技术开发和科技成果转化,逐步形成了钢铁、钒钛关键技术的研究开发体系,成为西南地区冶金新工艺、新技术、新材料的研发基地。</p>
